Troubleshooting:
For some users, the app appears not to work, while in fact it is the device itself or the cable not working. One OTG cable is not the other OTG cable. If you have a USB stick with a light on it, it should light up when you connect it to the Galaxy Nexus using your OTG cable. If it does not, either your cable or your Galaxy Nexus is faulty. 99 out of 100 times it is going to be your cable. That the cable works fine with another device does not mean anything! Cables known to work on a different devices may not work on the Galaxy Nexus (a known example is the Xoom OTG cable).

This tutorial will allow you to transfer any application from one of your devices to your ViewSonic G-Tablet. So basically if you have another Android Tablet/Phone you can backup your application and transfer it over to your Gtablet. Some applications will not work resulting in a force close error, other applications will not be the correct 10.1″ size because they were not created to support that resolution. However for the most part, most applications and games will work on the correct resolution. Please note that you will need root access on the device you are backing up the application from.
Your ViewSonic G-Tablet also needs to be ROOTed, and you will need a custom ROM installed on your device such as TNT Lite.
Step 1. On the device that has the current application that you would like to backup and transfer to your ViewSonic Gtab. Go to the Android Marketplace and download “App Backup Reinstall“.
Step 2. Open the App Backup Reinstall application and find the application you are looking to back up. In our example we are going to backup the application “AK Notepad“.
Step 3. Now simply press on the application that you are going to back up, you should noticed a check box near the application. If you are doing multiple applications to backup and transfer select some other apps. Press the Menu button on your device and Choose “Back up“. You should notice text in green that says “Back up” indicating that the application has been successfully backed up onto your devices SD-Card.
Step 4. Now connect the Android device to your computer via USB, not the g-tablet! But the device that you just backed up the application with. Locate your devices SD-card by viewing it in My Computer on your PC. Find the folder “AppBackup“. Copy all the file, or all of the files that you just backed up to a new folder on your computer.
Step 5. Now connect your ViewSonic G-Tablet to your computer via USB. Now enable mass storage, so you can transfer files to your G-tablets SD-Card. You can create a new folder on your g-tablets SD-Card or you can just copy them to the root directory just make sure you remember where you placed them.
Step 6. Open up ES File Manager on your g-tablet or another appropriate file manager application, find the apk/applications that you just transferred over and Viola! You should have now successfully installed a application onto your ViewSonic G-tablet. Now just hope for the best that the application will work in the 10.1″ resolution and you do not receive any force close errors.

I use to always be a huge of LauncherPro just from all of the customizations and tweaks it had available. Well I was browsing Droid-Life.com and saw that ADW had a WP7 Theme that caught my eye, now just to tell you I really never messed with ADW or used any other launcher besides LauncherPro until I got my Droid-X I noticed that all of the Blur widgets stopped working when I installed LauncherPro so I had to give up on a launcher. Well I just installed the new ADW version 1.2.0 and let me tell you its fantastic. Works great on the Droid-X all the blur images look great and this new WP7 theme kicks ass.

Yahoo keeps working hard to compete and stay relevant on the Android platform. After releasing their IM, Mail and Search apps back in July, they’ve added News, Weather, Movies and Finance to the pack over the last couple of days. For the power Yahoo users out there, you should be pretty excited to see the search giant rounding out their suite of services.

ChangeLog
- Fixed a force close issue with the Friends widget.
- Fixed the Friends widget not being able to post comments to Facebook.
- Added an option for the Calendar widget to set the week to start on Monday instead of Sunday (after releasing the update, I found a glitch where busy days are marked wrong with this setting on, will be fixed later today in 0.8.0.1).
- New Feature: Dock Popups! A perfect complement for dock notifications and dock swipe actions, the new dock popups give you quick access to information without leaving LauncherPro. In this release I’ve included two popups: Missed Calls, and Unread SMS. More popups will come in future updates.
To enable them, long-press on the desired dock icon, choose “Swipe gesture action”, then “Show Popup…” and choose the popup. Now when you swipe that icon up, you’ll get a popup showing you the selected information.

This is not a *real* recovery. The way this recovery works is by hijacking portions of your boot process during system initialization and starting into recovery instead. So, if you hose your system *COMPLETELY* you will need to SBF. Specifically, if your logwrapper, logwrapper.bin, or hijack binary are missing from /system/bin, you will be screwed.
