YouTube TV Coming to These 10 New Markets

thumbnail

Over the next “couple of weeks,” Google says that YouTube TV will expand into an additional 10 markets. Those markets are Dallas-Fort Worth, Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne and Charlotte. Where’s Portland, Google?   Those new markets join Chicago, LA, NYC, Philly, and San Francisco. I’d love to tell you that you should strongly consider switching to YouTube TV should you live in one of those new markets, but I have yet to test it myself, since I do not ...

Moto E4 Now Available at Verizon for Just $69.99

thumbnail

The Moto E4 was announced only 10 days ago, yet you can already buy one today from Verizon. This is the regular E4, though, so it’s not the slightly more feature-packed Plus version. Still, at $69.99, it’s a pretty good starting price for a prepaid phone. To recap, the Moto E4 is Motorola’s latest budget E-line phone that packs a 5-inch 720p display, quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2800mAh removable battery, fingerprint reader, and Android 7.1 Nougat. ...

DEAL: Save $35 on a Huawei Watch 2 Through eBay, Priced at Just $265

thumbnail

I’m always quite amazed at how much Android Wear devices can cost, with the Huawei Watch 2 being no exception. Considering Huawei ditched the premium materials for the standard Watch 2 (they did keep metal, leather, and all that jazz for the Classic), the company still launched the wearable with a price of $299 in the US. Thanks to a deal over on eBay, you can grab a brand new unit for the price of $265, which is a savings of about $35. If you missed our ...

[Deal Alert] Huawei Watch 2 on sale for $264.99 ($35 off) via eBay

thumbnail

We're still waiting to see if Android Wear 2.0 does any favors for the platform, but in the meantime it's tough to justify spending a lot on a new smartwatch. The Huawei Watch 2 starts at $300, but you can get one for $35 off today on eBay. That's more probably justifiable for Android nerds. The watch available on eBay is the black "sport" version of the Huawei Watch 2 (the other colors are listed as out of stock). Read More Huawei Watch 2 on sale ...

Bixby Voice is Arriving Today in the US on the Galaxy S8! (Updated)

thumbnail

Bixby Voice just showed up on my Galaxy S8, so I’m assuming they are starting to roll it out to those who signed up for the Bixby Early Access Program at the end of last week. And that makes sense since we saw the Galaxy S8 and S8+ receive a bunch of updates to Samsung apps that added Bixby Voice support, within the past few days. I’ve hardly had a chance to play with it yet, but there are a whole bunch of settings to tweak ...

SEGA Forever Brings the OG Heat to Android – Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, and More

thumbnail

I’m sorry, but because SEGA’s opening line is just too good, I’m going to use it. Straight from the press release, “In celebration of a simpler time – an era that came before cool kale, hyper-connectedness, DIY artisanal beer-making, and social media mayhem – SEGA Networks Inc. is bringing a growing collection of classic video games from every console era to your mobile device for free.” That’s right, SEGA has launched classic titles for free to mobile devices. Starting today, you can find six old school ...

You Can Now Send a Replay of Your Live Video to Instagram Stories

thumbnail

Instagram announced this morning that it has 250 million daily users on Stories. That’s an impressive number. To go along with that, with the latest update to the Android and iOS app, you can now share your finished live video to Stories for 24 hours, a function that hasn’t been available until now. To put this simply, if you’ve just wrapped up a live video where you interacted with friends and had a blast, you can immediately share that live video to Stories, allowing anyone and ...

Firefox Focus, once available only to iOS devices, is now available on Google Play for Android.
