MetaMorph – Analog Clock – Vinyl

A forum member over at DroidXForums.com requested a “Vinyl Analog Clock” that was created for the Droid 1 to be ported over to the Droid-X & Droid-2. The images were already created I just made the MetaMorph file. This WILL ONLY WORK ON DROID-X and DROID-2. It modifys the “BlurAlarmClock.apk”.

Long Press on your Background -> Android Widgets -> Analog Clock

Installation:
1. Download file below, note this file requires the MetaMorph Application
2. Move to “Android Themes” folder created by MetaMorph on SD card
3. After checks, choose “Unzip/Extract New”
4. Follow instructions from there
5. Phone may reboot, if not, manually reboot

MetaMorph – HTC IME Swype Theme

Please make sure “com.swype.android.inputmethod” is placed in your “/system/app” directory before installing this MetaMorph or it will not work.

Installation:
1. Download file below, note this file requires the MetaMorph Application
2. Move to “Android Themes” folder created by MetaMorph on SD card
3. After checks, choose “Unzip/Extract New”
4. Follow instructions from there
5. Phone may reboot, if not, manually reboot

MetaMorph – Google Voice & Talk Mods

This will put a better colorful Google voice icon in the status bar, replace non-existent contacts with a green android in both Google voice & Google talk, and put a better SMS icon onto the SMS contacts within Google voice. Check the screen shot below for more information.

Please make sure “googlevoice.apk” and “Talk.apk” are placed in your “/system/app/” directory or this MetaMorph will not work.

Installation:
1. Download file below, note this file requires the MetaMorph Application
2. Move to “Android Themes” folder created by MetaMorph on SD card
3. After checks, choose “Unzip/Extract New”

MetaMorph – Dark Twitter App & Widget

Here is a Metamorph that consists of a Dark Twitter application with transparent widget background. Check out the screen shots below to this sleek skin design.

Installation:
1. Make sure the “twitter.apk” is named “twitter.apk” and in the “system/app” folder of your phone, to sucessfully get it there go to “data/app” and long press on the “com.twitter.apk” and select move, navigate to “system/app” and paste then reboot.

1. Download file below, note this file requires the MetaMorph Application
2. Move to “Android Themes” folder created by MetaMorph on SD card
3. After checks, choose “Unzip/Extract New”
4. Follow instructions from there

Metamorph – Handcent Skin

1. First thing is to uninstall any themed version and install the most recent handcent from the market
2. Now you need to move com.handcent.nextsms-1.apk from /data/app to /system/app and rename it to Handcent.apk(use root explorer or another file manager)
3. Download Handcent.zip(color of choice) and place in android theme folder on your SD-Card
4. Open MetaMorph and click Unzip/Extract New theme -> Click RedHancent.zip (or whichever color you download) Click Close and Finally Click “Apply All“.

Metamorph – Swype Skins

1. Make sure you have the most recent MetaMorph from the market
2. With any file manager like root explorer go into /data/app and find com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk
3. Long press on the com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk and select move
4. Navigate to /system/app and select paste
5. Long press on it again and select rename, name it swype.apk (all lower case) then reboot phone
6. Download the color of choose to pc
7. Mount your sdcard and place the file you downloaded in the adroid theme folder
8. Open up Metamorph and select unzip/extract new them
9. Navigate to the swype.zip that you placed in android theme( i think it automaticly opens in that directory) touch it and follow the prompts. when its done, reboot the phone. Please note you have to reboot your device 2 times.
