Droid Bionic

Droid Bionic – Theme / Change Your Status Bar (Notification Bar)

The Status Bar or Notification Bar can be themed via MetaMorph on your Droid3 / Droid Bionic using the same Gingerbread MetaMorphs because the framework did not change through out the device so whether your running Froyo or Gingerbread we have an option for you.

Below are some previews of the colors you can apply to your new Droid Bionic. If you are looking for a color option that isn’t posted yet please comment and it will be created!

Just make sure when you download the status bar for your Bionic or Droid 3 that you choose the Gingerbread link.

Droid Bionic – Simple One Click UNROOT Access

Required Essentials: (Make sure you download these to your computer first before proceeding).
- Motorola Droid Bionic Drivers (5.2.0) (Download via Droidpiratefiles.com).
- Motorola 1-Click UNRoot Access (SuperUser) Tool (Created by Pete).

Instructions:
Step 1. The driver file you downloaded earlier / above, please install the driver package on to your Windows based PC.
Step 2. Now unzip the (PetesMotorolaRootTools_v1.05.zip) file you also downloaded earlier / above. You want to unzip this file using (WinZIP, WinRAR or 7-Zip).
Step 3. On your device go to “Settings>Applications>Development” and be sure to check the box for “USB Debugging“.
Step 4. Plug your device into your computer and select “Charge Only” mode.
Step 5. Open “PetesMotorolaRootTools_v1.05” folder that you unzipped earlier and run the “Pete’s Motorola Root Tools.exe“.
Step 6. Follow the instructions in the application window, In this case you are UNROOTING your device, so click on the “Unroot my phone” option.
Step 7. Your phone will complete 3 steps, your device will also reboot (3) different times, Once it finishes you will be UN-Rooted and you will now see that the “SuperUser” application icon has been removed from your device.

This application will not only unroot your device but it will root your device as well.

If you want to double check and make sure that Root access is now disabled on the device. You can download any Android application on the Market place that requires ROOT ACCESS. Such as (MetaMorph, Asto File Manager, Root Explorer). I’m also not 100% sure if the Root Checkers on the marketplace are compatible with the Droid Bionic.

Any other problems please a comment.
